Information for Exhibitors:
Send inquiries about sponsorship to jpowell@scacadscience.org and/or lucia.pirisi-creek@uscmed.sc.edu
For one single, low price of $ 400.00, exhibitors will have a choice of entrance or hall table and four free
registrations to the Conference, no matter how many days the company chooses to be present.
Of course, it will be up to the company representative to offer higher levels of sponsorship, if the company so desires:
we can provide two additional free passes to the Conference for each $ 200 increment in sponsorship,
and the opportunity to hold a satellite workshop during the Conference, for sponsorships of $ 1,000 or more.
SC start-up companies and nonprofit organizations can also participate
by making special arrangements with us and contributing in kind
(i.e. with an extensive e-mail campaign advertising the Conference
within their membership and contacts networks). Please e-mail us for details
Sponsorship Opportunities:
Here below are some ideas about items which sponsor can support completely or in part.
Each sponsor will have a complimentary exhibit table available throughout the Conference, and sponsorship of a specific
item will be acknowledged in all Conference materials. Also, we will be happy to distribute company literature (flyers, ads)
with the registration materials, and sponsorship of any specific item will be properly acknowledged on this web site,
on posters, programs and meeting materials throughout the conference.
Suggested items for complete or partial sponsorship include, but are not limited to:
Sponsorship of a coffee break (cost of each coffee break: $ 2,500) or an all-day break (cost: $ 5,000/day)
The pizza dinner on Thursday evening for the SCJAS (mostly high school) students (cost: $ 2,500). This dinner is a tradition of SCJAS meetings.
Lunch (also on Thursday) for the SCJAS students (cost for lunch: $ 15.00/student)
The cost of bags for conference participants (estimated cost: $ 2,500). Sponsors may choose to provide the bags directly, from a vendor of their choice.
The cost of providing each participant with a compilation of the abstracts, either on pendrives or CD ROM ($ 1,000)
Costs for printing the abstract book ($ 6,000)
Travel and lodging for one or more speakers ($ 2,500)
Sponsorship of audiovisuals ($ 350/room/day)
Complete or partial sponsorship of poster sessions - poster session costs include the rental fees for the poster boards ($ 75/board) and some coffee,
beverages, cheese and crackers and other snacks to go with the poster session, at an estimated total cost of about $ 3,000/session
Complete or partial sponsorship of Junior Academy (high school) and Senior Academy (undergraduate or graduate) student presentation awards ($ 1,000 for 10 awards)
Sponsorship of travel awards for participating students traveling from outside Columbia, who need one night stay at
a local hotel ($ 200/student, to partially defray the cost of travel, room and board)
